Main themes of the Conference:
- Problems of soil science in the cryolithic (permafrost) zone.
- Biological diversity of land and water ecosystems of the cryolithic (permafrost) zone.
- Structural-functional organization and ecosystems’ sustainability of the cryolithic zone.
- Anthropogenic influence on biological resources of the cryolithic (zone) permafrost zone.
- Technology of biopreparations and new materials from biological stuffs.
- Biological diversity and plant introduction (modern collecting methods, study and preservation of botanical collections).
- Role of botanical gardens in environmental education
The following symposia will be held within the framework of the Conference:
- “Influence of climatic and ecological changes over the frozen ecosystems”
- “Ecology and migration of migratory birds of the North Pacific region”
- “Problems of preservation and study of biodiversity in botanical gardens”, the forum on the 50th-anniversary of the Yakut Botanical Garden IBPC SB RAS
In the network of the Conference the excursions to the National Park “Lena Pillars” and international Field Station “Spasskaya Pad” are planned.
The conference work will be held in the form of plenary and thematic sessions as well as a poster session. The working languages of the Conference are Russian and English

Abstracts
Note: The text of the abstracts (not more than 3 pages) should follow the guidelines and sent in the attached file. The application is sent separately. The conference proceedings are planned to be published by the beginning of the Conference.
The OrgCommittee reserves the right to choose the abstracts in accordance with the Conference subject area. All abstracts accepted by the OrgCommittee will be published avoiding editorship (original version).
Manuscript requirements for the materials:
- presentations not more than 10 pages, sheet size A4 in a hard copy and electronic (email or disk) versions, standard format MS Word (формат rtf);
- file name in Latin characters according to the first author indicating the number of a symposium (example: 1_Ivanov.rtf);
- sheet size - A4, full text justification without hyphenation, margins - 2cm from all sides, font type Times New Roman, font size- 14, line spacing -1, paragraph indention – 1.25 cm;
- references in the text are given in square brackets. The list of reference is given in the end of the text as the authors meet in the text;
- the title of the presentation is given in THE UPPERCASE LETTERS, below - family name, name and patronymic of the author(s); below – name of the institution, email; below – main text missing a blank line;
- drawings in format JPEG and tables are sent in separate files named after the surname of the first author;
- the materials presented should be thoroughly checked and edited by the author(s).

The organizational fee is 500 R from each participant that is paid during the registration at the beginning of the conference. Ph.D. fellows and students are free of charge.
